Who manages The Pool?
The Pool is managed by our Executive Director David Ganz and Ruth Leap, the Manager of the service.
If I become an associate, will I be continuously employed?
No, we can't guarantee you will be working all the time. We will try to place you in as much work as possible, but contracts may be long or short, and there will be times when you are not working. Self employment carries risks: that's why we are preferably looking for people already working independently, or committed to going freelance.
Will potential employers know who I am from the website?
No, we do not include personal details of associates.
What support will I receive?

How can an employer use the website to choose staff?
A prospective employer can navigate our user friendly site to see the service we provide. They can then contact us through our enquiry form or by email. This then enables us to use The Pool's database which allows us to meet your requirements in terms of the job, seniority level and location.
How can employers be sure associates are good at their job?
The Pool checks two references for every associate. Employers are invited to interview as many candidates for a post as they wish. We ask for regular feedback from employers both while the associate is on site, and once the contract ends. Employers are free to ask for further references if they choose.
